Anyone make the rear plate?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Are the 5-ton and Deuce winch top plates the same looking, just the 5-ton is dimensionally larger?Wish someone would make them for the 5ton winch. Both my top plate and plate on the back side are bent outward by quite a bit.
Can anyone confirm that the M35 and M211 winch use the same top plate?I would be in for one or two for my M211 winch .............No holes just in case the winch is different than the M35 winch ...... Tim
I can do the rear one also, but it would be soild, and not have the three square holes cut into it. I would serve the same purpose (maybe even stronger ?), but it would not be correct for a full on restoration.Anyone make the rear plate?

If so, I can do them also, at the same time. I'll just need accurate dimensions to make them for a 5-ton.

If different, what are the dimensions for the M211?
11ga = 3mm, that's what I use. Most of what I have replaced was only 12ga (under several layers of paint...!)Pretty sure the original was 11GA.
These are made from 11 gauge material.Looks nice, what gauge did you make them out of?
Ours on the wifes bobbed deuce has the ends trimmed off the same way.Yes, I was going to make them like the standard winch plate. I don't know why the plate on my bobber has the ends trimmed off like it does. Never seen another like it before.
