Do it. If you're doing what I did, the only function you'll need is the cab tilt, which I would highly recommend powering with it's own manual pump. The AOH unit just seems to be asking for trouble. The OE manifold function and plumbing will make sense as you dismantle it.
Independently...
Dwight,
Are you deleting the whole manifold box like I did? If that's the case, it's very simple. There are two lines from the tilt cylinder. Hook those into your ports on the pump you use to replace the AOH pump. They send fluid to either side of a double-acting piston. You can chuck all...
It's on my radar but I also have a friend at Capitol Reef in the same window. Will keep you posted as the time draws closer, and I hope to cross paths with you at some point this spring. Would like to make it happen.
I would also love to make it but am burning a whole lotta time April/May and a So Cal trip isn't really in the cards for me.
I am aware of two others who will make the Flagstaff Overland Expo, and I am thinking of the same. Maybe find a convenient nearby locale to do an FMTV-centric gathering...
Sounds like you've got a keeper! My wife is ridiculously supportive as well, and has thoroughly enjoyed getting out in ours. I wouldn't have done it without her buy in, but neither of us had ever been in/driven one. When we checked ours out (was a local CL sale) and she was good with it, we...
Thanks Dwight. I've kept active on here because of the support that this forum shows its members. I have reaped many benefits others have generously shared and seek to contribute anywhere I can, so that's why I keep rambling on here...

It's also great to see it...
Each dip switch should have a number over it, and the ones marked 1, 2, 3, & 10 should be set to off.
I can't confirm that as I don't have an A0, but that's the gist of the post.
It may need a flange and gasket to seal up the gap, but I am willing to try without it for now and calling it "finished" (finally!).

We will be heading out for a trial run this coming week. Looking forward to giving it a try!!
Mounted my 1088 vertical trans cooler between the frame rails. Pic in my build thread, was super simple and only required new hoses. I put new fans on (much lower profile) as well though to gain some clearance for airflow. No issues in 10k+ miles.
