Must be an epidemic. My driver outside handle turned too far wouldn't allow me in. Removed the latch mechanism and found that the machined part was worn out probably like Stone Mill. Very carefully disassembled the latch mechanism, welded some material onto the machined part, ground it back...

I had problems overloading the light switch when I wired my convoy lights according to the print. There must be an internal circuit breaker in the light switch that tripped at the most unopportune moments. When it trips you lose all your lighting. You have to wait for it to reset. Joe Young...
RE: Re: RE: insurance
On the way home from the Bruce Post VFW MV meet this weekend I found and purchased a M107A1 water buffallo. It is in really nice shape. Today I called JC Taylor about insurance for it and I was told that their insurance policy on my deuce DOES NOT allow pulling a...
RE: S.E. Michigan WWII & Veteran
What a great show. We all had a blast. 45+ vehicles, lots of vendors, LOTS of people came and spent 6 bucks to get in. Three battles with a good amount of both axis and allied reenactors. Great Lakes MVPA, the Ohio Motorpool and the Detroit Arsenal Museum...
This was the first Clare show I've missed in a long time. My dad passed away on 8/10 and I just couldn't get in gear to get ready. Looks like it was a lot of fun. I do plan on being at the Bruce VFW post in St Clair Shores this coming weekend.
Chuck, looks like you didn't go to Clare either. My dad passed away this past week and I didn't have any enthusiasm to go. I heard thru the grapevine that the turnout was light. Hopefully thats not the case.
I've been playing with different fuels in my truck. It seems to like Mercon trans fluid a lot. Used oil too. Not too long ago, forgeting about the science experiment in my fuel tank, I siphoned some of it out for my Kioti diesel tractor. The tractor did not enjoy the mix very well. A tank...
I'm hoping to be there. Haven't missed one in years. Looking forward to a convoy down to Buccilli's for the pizza buffet. Also I gotta get paint from Gen Jims. Does anyone know if they will allow a campfire there at night?
I just had mine redone to the tune of $700.00. I was told by the radiator guy that the new core had to be installed onto the bottom half of the old tank and that very few places can do that. He was on the phone awhile and 2 weeks later I got my radiator back.
Hey Lane, At the Great Lakes hobby show we were discussing various trailers that we would like to own and your name did pop up as a connoisseur of all things trailer. So if your ears were burning, it was us. So how was Findlay?
On behalf of John Lind and his Detroit Arsenal Museum; thanks to all for coming out to the show. Thanks to Great Lakes Hobby for hosting and feeding us. Rattlehead; hope you can make Royal Oak next Monday.
