RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: bypassing the FDC
I just get tired reading posts knocking the multifuel. I like the motor and it was nice reading about someone get a whole lot out of it, even if for a short distance. Plus he used military heads and intake!
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: bypassing the FDC
I only posted the tractor puller engine info because I thought the amount of boost they were using was interesting. I like the slow, stock engine myself. I put over 300 miles on my truck this weekend going to the Clare Michigan show. Did it mostly at...

Hey guys.Just wanted to tell you about something I witnessed this weekend.I attended a truck and tractor pull this weekend at the Crawford County Fair in western Pa.What does this have to do with military...
This was a great show. Lots of trucks and vendors! Got to convoy up with Armada. Two Vietnam era deuces. We got a lot of waves along the way. I had a conversation with someone about oil pressure and not trusting my gauge, which I thought was reading low. Tested it with a good gauge at the...
Was rolling home down 127 when my daughter spotted John McEntyre walking along the road towards another truck. Pulled over and we spent an hour getting a GLMVPA member's civvy vehicle running. We had four vehicles spread out over 1/2 mile on the side of the road. Got a lot of walking...
Once again looking to see any interest in convoying either friday afternoon or early saturday from Macomb County (Detroit) area. I 69 to 127 and up to Clare. Does anyone know if the road in front of gen. jims is still blocked off?

I like my duals, plus they are appropriate to the era my truck is marked and painted. The idea of front duals is interesting. I've never seen a pic of an M35 w/ front duals. CCKW's, yes. How would you go about doing that? You would probably...
I'll be driving the deuce with the top off unless it rains. This sounds like a plan. I think we will have more joining in as it gets closer. Especially leaving early Saturday which seems to be the preferred time.
RE: Re: RE: Clare MI Show Aug. 17-19th 2007
I was hoping to head up on Friday afternoon. We talked about convoying up from north Detroit area at the spring Company A GLMVPA meeting. I volunteered to work on this. What is the interest out there on convoying from north Macomb County to Clare?

the rods need to be in the holes without tension on them. Adjust the arc of the rods until they are loose and don't push or pull. The flex between back of the cab and the windshield cause a rod under tension to walk out of the windshield hole. Once adjusted mine stay put...

I had a line crack right above the ferrule where it comes out of the pump. Happened last Memorial Day weekend. Had a heck of a time finding a replacement ferrule. All the truck part places were closed and the auto parts stores didn't have a clue. Ended up at a Allis Chalmers tractor dealer...
Stuck in Michigan three. I swore I would not miss this year but there is too much work going on and with our awful economy you can't pass it up. Thankfully our local group (Company "A" Great Lakes MVPA) has got some good events this year.
I was lucky and bought a brand new ring mount in the crate at Aberdeen 2 years ago. Got home Saturday night and started installation the next morning at 8 oclock. Had ring mounted completely by 12:30pm. Kit had complete instructions and every bolt and fitting was there. We mounted a block...
