I am looking for canvas and bows for my M116. Does any one know of a source? I am more interesded in finding the canvas since I have access to borrow one bow to pattern if needed. Or does anyone know the NSN# for the canvas? I have a source that may be able to order it for me as he has...
Great looking truck. When I rebuilt the brakes on my M37 I found that I was able to get all of the parts from my local NAPA. Saved a bit of cash that way. I think the wheel cylinder kits are NAPA up-2. Also the civilian power wagon master cyilider is basicly the same. The only difference is...
Thanks. I have seen saturn surplus' listing. When did you order your cables? I ordered from them back in March and the brake levers showed sold out then.
My M116A2 I purchased from GL last year came to me with out the parking brake levers. I have since modified some civillian dodge parking brake levers to work for now but I would like to find the correct ones. So I have two questions. 1) Does any one know where I can get a set? 2) I found...
I fairly recently (oct) got my m116A2 from GL and have a couple of questions regaurding the brakes. The trailer came stripped of all of it's brake parts except for the master cylinder which was cracked. I have since found and replaced the wheel cylinders with new pads springs ect. Thanks to...
I actualy found a cap that fits the master cylinder from a late 50's Chrysler in a junk yard. (free) Does any one know where to get a rebuild kit for the master cylinder or if they are even available? $83 to $100 is a bit high to me for a master cylinder.
One thing I forgot to mention. You will need to get tubes for radials instead of the regular tubes used on the NDT's. But they are cheep and easy to get a truck tire centers ect.
That would depend on the type of driving you do with your M37. Since 90+% of my driving is on paved roadr I went with 255/85R16 all terain tires. (that was as big as the tire shop felt comfortable putting on those wheels) Since they are almost 36 inch tall tires they look pretty good. And...
Thanks. I knew there is no safe way to use the hummer tires on the stock 16 inch wheels. I am hopeing to avoid the high cost of custom machine work if possible. I am ok with not using the hummer wheels. Are there any 16.5 wheels that will fit the M37 or possibly adapters?
Does any one know of a way to run hummer wheels and tires on a M37? Or possibly just the tires? I am currently running 255/85/16's on the truck which was a huge inprovement over the NDT's but don't quite look right. A buddy that works for Goodyear gave me 4 hummer tires and wheels in excelent...
