Got my new (old) duece (1952) and noticed that the carb needs a rebuild, brakes need work, and that the fuel tank is a lil sludgy. I can figure out the rect but how do you de-sludge the fuel tank of a duece???
I have the core/fan part of the heater but not the rest of it like the mounting bracket, hoses, etc. Is there a place to get all BUT the core/fan combo??
Anyone buy a kit to get the core/fan and have the rest left over? Anyone have a part of the rest? Hses, bracket, etc? :)
Re: RE: Help with title
Is the SF97 the Gov Cert for Title? Ky (at least my local county) won't take it + the Ky Cert for title (signed and notorized by him). They want a title from Ohio from the fella I got it from. He cannot get that without a on-site inspection (in Ohio). Help....
Can...
It is for a 1952 Studebaker gasser with a Continental 331cu. I "think" the # of the carb is: Model 885 FFG PN# R-602
Anyone confirm the carb and who has the best deal on a rebuild kit???
Need help with a title. I have a US Gov (certifiacte to obtain a title) from someone I bought a Duece from. He is from Ohio which is 6hrs from me. In order for him to get a Ohio title I'd have to drive it back up 6hrs so Ohio can inspect it. Is there a 3rd party that can give us a title...
Well, I believe it is back on. Apears that the fella I am swapping with has had problems with "no-shows" in the past and it annoyed and bothered him greatly when I didn't make it today. I think all is good and we will try again next weekend. Thanks all... :)
M100 military trailer. Hitch adapted to 2". Makes a great trailer for a Jeep. I am still wanting to do the origional swap. Left a v-mail on his cell, hope he calls back.
Getting a 52' M35 (gasser) and I am thinking it might be a good idea to add a fuel filter in there somewhere. Is there a unit I can get with removable filters (screw off or otherwise) and where would one mount a fuel filter?? Just after the tank? Inside the engine compartment?
I'd rather buy from a board member than someone on e-bay. :) Getting a 52' M35 this weekend and it'll need a heater. Anyone have one to part with??? I need the whole thing...

My situation: getting a 52 M35 sans bed, been checking out pics of a bed to put on it but it does not have bolts. My question is what king of bolts and nuts do I need, misc hardware, and where can I get them? Napa? Home Depot? Lowes?? Help.... :)
Note PN#s, etc would be awesome...
Anyone know of a M35 bed, be it reg or drop side, close to Western KY? Getting a 1952 Studebaker 6X6 M35 w/o a bed and am starting the search early... :)
I am new to big MV (have a 47 Willys CJ2A) and I am getting a 52' Studebaker M35 gasser in 2 weeks. It has a 331cu Contenental gas engine in it. Its main issue engine-wise is a carb that needs re-building. I was wondering if anyone either has one that is good and would sell it OR someone that...
