I use the geared torque multiplier to break them loose, but it's gears seem kind of weak for tightening. I carry one of these in the small cavity in the front edge of the bed for spinning nuts and tightening. You can't break it unless you are godzilla, and it can really get those lug nuts...

Welcome aboard rogpike. I had to replace that fuse on my first unit (802a) to get it to charge. It's a simple and cheap fix. Just remember the units above the 803a in size are 3 phase only.

No, the rebuild kit has the new air bag with the metal caps and rings in place. I did not use new O-rings. I did need new bushings in the shock-end once I dismantled the unit. I believe ReworkedLMTV was able to reuse his bushings. They are pricey at $22.50 each x2.

I believe the limitation on a 6x6 will be that the rear axles are too close together for 53's. The tires on the rear will contact each other or not even fit by my measurements. I can't imagine the fabrication/engineering needed to spread the axles apart. That would not be worth the trouble IMHO.

I wish it WAS a lift gate. It is only a fold down platform to stand on. I believe this truck had a shelter on the bed it's entire life.

I hauled some landscape wall block today for the church. In addition to the pallets of block, there is also 36 bags (1/2 pallet) of gravel stacked on the other side. This is the heaviest load I have hauled. It handled the load fine, but I could definitely feel the change in center of gravity.
