Well I found another complete engine for this project. We did a little horse trading and came to an agreement. I get it home and go to work. Pull my bad motor out do a little motor mount swapping. Next day I get it put back in the saddle bolted down. Change out some filters hook up some wires...

I found an engine I'm just trying to scratch up the cash to go fetch.

Yeah mine will sit a little shorter than original height and rear wheel drive but I will be able to get on down the road at highway speeds and pull a trailer. If I can ever get finished...... What's sad is this is only the mock up phase. I still have to tear it back apart to do paint and detail...

I have plans to pull the engine and disassemble take the block to the machine shop for further analysis. But putting a sleeve in is a viable option. But my plans are to completely rebuild the bottom end.

Just put it back on today. head good. New gasket. Number 4 cylinder full of water. Grrrrr

All I know right now is if you put piston to the bottom of the bore it will fill up the cylinder if you put the piston to the top of the bore it will put water in the oil.

Latest update. Rat Deuce project hit a brick wall today. Motor is no good it has a cracked block. Out of funds so out under the shed it goes.

Shifter is outta the way pretty good. The cabs on these trucks were designed kinda small but I'll make the best of it. As far as preempted strikes go. I did the basic home work measured frames and other things. But it definitely has been a learning curve from beginning to the middle where I am...

Ha lol! Yes it would! I have the exhaust flange lose so it just spins outta my way when I need it to.

Yeah DMV definitely will be puzzled! I managed to get brake pedal and 75% of the air brake lines ran today.

I installed my tool box door today thanks again Roger. and( Houston we have a cab!)
