I did the same test with EXACTLY the same results, pulled on a stump and rears spun in both foward and reverse, front did nothing. Then after that drove it around for a bit and it felt like a 4x4 with the hubs locked....it bound real bad when turning, then I heard (and felt) a pop, after that...
My front wheels for sure didnt engage in frontwards or reverse. I will try adjusting it. and maybe an oil change. Can the sprag assembly be worked on without pulling the t-case?
Today I tried pulling a large stump out and found my front wheels dont engage. What should I do, Is the sprag worth rebuilding. Air shifts seem to be far a few between. Help me out.

Is this the style pump those 5 toners had? I will be in the market for a smaller wheel once I get the power steering installed. Let me know what you find.
I picked up this unit, it was cheap enough so if it doesnt work I will just resell it.

I am still looking for a LDS direct mount pump. I do have a PTO hydraulic pump setup but I...
Jones thanks for the info. I havent worked with torque generators before but I know they are used on low speed heavy equipment. Do you know the flow rate in gpm you were providing? possible less flow would have been better? I figured with the deuces slow steering ratio all would be fine, but...
As do 99% of all cars on the road today, even the turbocharged ones with intercoolers have heated intakes/TB. Air passing through a large intake runner that is a few inches long does very little to warm it. Now air passing through very fine cooling fins with many square feet of surface area does...
Just wanted to know if the hydraulic pump mounted in front of the injector pump on a LDS will fit a LDT? Also if it will does anyone have or know where I can get one with all the needed couplings and such. I am thinking about using a torque generator for power steering, but I need a pump first.
These turbos have no wastegate, and no boost control. They run them flat out but still only manage minimal boost. All i can say is the exhaust housing/wheel must be huge and lag has to be horrible. I think there is improvement to be had in the turbo department of a deuce. In spring I am gonna...
I have heard people say this before and I have to completely disagree with the statement heat spools a turbo. Heat may help spool a turbo(from air expansion) but exhaust flow and velocity is what spools a turbo. Air flowing through the exhaust housing whether its hot or cold will spool a turbo...
