Check your front spring mounts (920 series)

Found this interesting little failure while greasing the 917 this week. Worth noting.

Love em or not, here’s my MEP-1040 thread.

I got mine for almost HALF that price....someone stuck a fork lift in the side of it, but it was only cosmetic damage! I rolled the dice and so far, so good.

Love em or not, here’s my MEP-1040 thread.

We’ll, I finally got around to load testing the 1040 today. Hooked it up temporarily to the 300’ of 1/0 quad copper feeder I was given by the local poco that I put in 2” conduit from my house to my shop. I still need to build a lean-to to cover the genny so at the moment it doesn’t stay...

Here’s the latest pallet of (20) that sold for $275. Keep us updated on how it works!

Advice needed - new guy with MEP004A

They were selling units that included one of these controls for about $14 each on GP a few months ago. The unit also came with a battery charger and other interesting widgets included for that price. Looks like the buyer is making a nice return on his investment!

Love em or not, here’s my MEP-1040 thread.

Decided to make the generator mobile until I get the pad and roof ready for its final resting place. It’s surprisingly easy to move around the shop.

    Is this load bank suitable?

I've got a dual oven Z-line 48" range in my kitchen. For monthly run time, I'll flip the transfer switch and tell the wife to fire up a couple batches of cookies! It works nicely because you can control the (4) separate elements independently to put varying loads on the genny....

    GovPlanet Cranking on Dry/Drained Engines???

Did you get the rusty green one, the tan one, or the camo one? Keep us updated!

Man, I'd love to have that 8" helical jointer!

    MEP1040 control box

They sold (4) of them on GP yesterday for approx $500 each. Someone bought (4) of them earlier this year for $20 each....they're out there for decent prices.

    L3 30747 Generator Interfaces - interesting widgets...

I feel like for $50 bucks each after shipping and buyers premium there’s tons of stuff inside it that is worth more than that! That battery maintainer is worth more than that on its own.

    L3 30747 Generator Interfaces - interesting widgets...

I’d love to know if they’re compatible with the newer Cummins units.

    L3 30747 Generator Interfaces - interesting widgets...

Someone bought (20) of them today for $13.75 each (plus buyers premium). The battery charger is worth more than that 😂

    L3 30747 Generator Interfaces - interesting widgets...

Did anyone ever figure out exactly what these things are? They are going for nothing on the planet. Like 20 of em for less than a grand cheap. Looks like they only start the 805/806 B models, but it would be cool to figure out if they can be adapted to other sets.

Love em or not, here’s my MEP-1040 thread.

All the panels I removed so far have been aluminum.

Got my 803A with LTT-HC Trailer - Mods, Questions, and whatnot....

Don't forget that anything over 119 gallons in a single container will require hazmat placards and an endorsement on your drivers license to pull it on the highway. Might be worth putting in a solid baffle and two fill necks to in essence make it "two separate containers" with each being under...

    Artisan's M916

Building a lake on the farm. That’s the little haul truck! 😂

    Artisan's M916

Our 917 is still chugging along on the original big cam. I scaled her out at 95k pulling the tri-axle and our a25c Volvo. Our farm tags are good for 120k gvwr thankfully. Plus the DOT doesn’t mess with us farmers much 😂. Also check your trailer tire air pressure every trip!

When all the doors are closed it's very quiet. Like can have a conversation standing next to it with someone without raising your voice quiet.
