Hi All,I just ordered some 900x20 deuce tires and they are supposed to be 75% or better tread..Well I was wondering how deep is the tread on a new NDT tire ??I checked the TM on tires and it didn't say what they were new .. My 2 best tires on mine now is a little over 1/2"..The TM said to...
Good luck with the wind..I hope you can catch a VERY calm day and you won't have nearly the overspray I had..It dried in the air and landed on the truck and you could wipe it off with your hand and it looked like thick dark dust or fine sand..Keep us informed with your progress [thumbzup] Oh...
It will take a lot less paint if you can do it inside out of the wind and the overspray won't be nearly as bad..I am going to do the underside a little at a time with the same stuff..A lot of wire brushing to be done there :banghead: ..Good luck..
Ok,After 24 cans of the walmart Krylon camo (Olive) spray paint I finally finnished the body of my deuce..I did mine outside and at times was a little breezy so I wound up wasting a lot of paint in the air.. :banghead: I like the color and it will be very easy to touch up..$2.63 a can x 24 + 2...
Getting there :banghead: If the wind would stop I could get by with halv the paint I am having to use..I am up to 18 cans and still have the hood and one side of the cab to do...
Look's great,I figure I would go this route since it's cheap and I can do it myself..I just wish I had a place inside to do it..It would take a lot less paint since the wind blows a lot of it away..
As usual I didn't read the instructions to see what color primer to use but I wanted it dark as...
Hi All,Well I decided to go the low-tech route and rattle can my deuce with the Olive Krylon from walmart..$2.65 a can and I figure about 20 cans and a couple cans of primer and about a day of wire brushing,Taping,Priming the bare spots and painting..Oh and a lot of can shaking :banghead: ...I...
Hi All,Another dumb question  But every time I open the drivers door on my deuce I see this little tag and I have no idea what it stands for..I did a search and no results...What is MWO ???
Well I think I need a pressure switch and a 3 lever light switch..I left the 3 lever switch in the brake light position for a day or so and it ran the battery's down and when I crawled under the deuce and felt the pressure switch it was warm..I charged the batterys and checked the voltage at the...
I was thinking about new in the front but I am trying to find a cheap place to find some tubes..If I can get some at a good price I mite go ahead and get 10 or 12...Thanks,Fred
I called the # below and asked about some tires and the lady told me since I wanted 10 I needed to talk to a guy named chip for a discount price..He hooked me up with 12 of them @ 75% + tread 900x20's for $360 shipped on 2 pallets [thumbzup] I saw there auctions on ebay and decided not to bid...

Well I went out in the shed and found a few tools to put in my pioneer rack today..I don't know if they are the rite tools but I figured it looks better with tools than without them..
Hi All,I would like to know exactly what tools go in the rack on the side of my deuce..I see the racks on just about every deuce I see but there are never any tools in the rack..I have a short handle shovel and picks etc but I think my shovel is a little long for the rack..Any help would be...
