    939 EUC's ? Months after auction???

Got a request for one on a truck bought on May 6 2015 but not for the truck bought on April 6 2016. I say hit and miss for sure. I need to call about an SF97 on a trailer so I'll ask about the EUC request.

HEMTT info, just passing it along.

Currently ALL MK48/HEMTT/LVSR/PLS and like vehicles are demill code Q3 (mutilation/scrap), so that would have to be returned a Q6 (EUC required) before they can be returned to DRMO for public auction as anything other than a scrap contract. Does anyone know what procedures are to change demill...

HEMTT info, just passing it along.

MK48s aren't being rebuilt but are coded the same as HEMTTs so if you see any at auction they will be likely Q3 scrap contracts. :(

HEMTT info, just passing it along.

Read this. This is why you likely will NOT see the return of HEMTTs to DRMO auctions as Q6 demill (EUC Item) until 2020 at minimum. On 19 June 2015 Oshkosh Defense announced the U.S. Army had awarded the company a five-year requirements contract worth a potential $780 million to Recapitalize...

What have you done to your HEMTT/PLS/MK48 this week

I bought the same NOS in crate cover kit you did. I had bows before and now have extra.

What have you done to your HEMTT/PLS/MK48 this week

I have an extra set of bows If anyone is in need. Just tossing it out there. The thing I find odd about the covers for the HEMTTs is that you have to load the truck up THEN install the cover. That just seems backwards when compared to a 5 ton cargo truck.

    Fuel Gage M939 not reading

You can get a stick for free then just dip the tank from time to time. Plus, it will be more accurate that any MV fuel gauge in history. :) Just sayin'.

Drivers in Oregon may share roads with military surplus Humvees

Well then. In Utah if it has a VIN inspection, passes a state safety inspection, then you're off to the races so to speak. There are a lot on the roads here and Utah has no real issues with HMMWVs.

    Hemtt rebuild location

LOL, I know that a "0 Reset/recap" program was supposed to cost 75% of original delivery price. My M985 was $361629 new, so that would be $271221.75 for the Oshkosh reset. I was also told that the average "RSMS" O/H was $80-120K. So, by those numbers my M985 has $750000 in tax dollars tied up...

    HEMTT Overheating While Driving

If you can get or have a thermal reader use it to check temps at different areas of the block.

I'm sure they could. How is your credit? ;)

    Hemtt rebuild location

My 1987 M985 went to Oshkosh for a "0 Reset/Recap" program in 2001 at their plant in Oshkosh, Wi. At that time it was stripped to the bare frame and rebuilt as a new truck warranted by Oshkosh for 12 months or 12000 miles. Then in 2009 it went through an RSMS O/H in Saginaw, Tx. which would be...

    OR20TUA wheel o rings

Does anybody know who makes these. These are the orange arctic o rings for the HEMTT/HET/PLS wheels. All I can find on the internet is a supplier in Abhu Dabi. I know there are a few suppliers here but I would like to know who makes them. Thanks for any help.

What should I do...and what are my options legally.

I keep hearing "Date of Manufacture" here. I have never seen that on any of my MVs. Mine all showed a "Date of Delivery" which was used as "Model Year." Grant it I don't have any HMMWVs. I have an Oshkosh M985 and they have the 17 digit vins like civilian vehicles. It was built in 1987 and when...

What have you done to your HEMTT/PLS/MK48 this week

Wednesday I picked up my Cargo cover kit that swiss sent me through Fastenall and now I have a pair of high back air ride seats with shoulder harness seat belts coming. I have work to do when ever thing is in one place because I still have an MRAP 360 lighting system to install too. I figure...

MRAP aluminum wheels 20 bolt vs. 24 Bolt

Without pictures I am going to assume the regulator on the valve stem is a CTIS valve. As far as one better than the other there likely is no difference other than the number of studs and nuts that hold the two pieces together.

Have you seen this? Pretty cool. The drive by at 1:15 is kind of psycho though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xngww3ZEGfQ&t=319s
