    AMMPS Generator Series Remote Data

I am wiring up some Can bus terminators to mu ESP-32s and to a Jetson nano to try and connect to the J1939 Bus. I tried connecting to the Diagnostic port near the engine and I did not get anything, but that could have been a bad USB-Canbus converter from WaveShare.. I am going to go get the DCU...

    AMMPS Generator Series Remote Data

When reviewing my capture, it seems the remote monitoring software and the generator are trying to negotiate the fastest baud rate possible. It send a bad rate request, gets and ack. Then sends char and other data stream settings. Then does this several times with faster baud rates. Then it...

    AMMPS Generator Series Remote Data

I understand using C++ and a microcontroller. But what are you using to base your emulator code off of if we do not understand the connection and data yet. Are you hoping the DLLs that come with inpower are able to do the generator side. Or do you have the generator side code?.

    AMMPS Generator Series Remote Data

Looking at this github you can get everything. https://github.com/Zheondre/Bable I am going to try to see if the j1939 diagnostic pins or any other j1939 pins labeled in the TM are available.

    AMMPS Generator Series Remote Data

That is not cool, this is will make it harder to get the data outside the Inpower application. Have you tried connecting to the Canbus?
  18. R

    AMMPS Generator Series Remote Data

So you have not tried to send the Inpower command to the Remote port from the Arduino yet, using a python serial module?
