    MEP-803A won't start

I used xylene to clean some junk out of a diesel tank last year when acetone wasn't cutting it. It worked well and turned almost black in the process. Might give that a try if all else fails.

    MEP-803A won't start

Thanks! I wanted to share these IP part numbers in case people are looking for them in the future. Delphi = 751-41174A (TPF1Q070T3502) Stanadyne = 751-41173 (PF70/31466)

    MEP-803A won't start

Hopefully soaking the injectors will help. Seems like you're on the right track. Your IP looks different from the others I've seen (Lister Petter / Stanadyne). Can you share the mfg and model# from yours?

    MEP-803A won't start

It's kind of hard to see in this picture, but I'm wondering if the big spring exposed on the bottom half of the IP is stuck in the compressed position? Are you able to rotate the fuel metering lever on the side of the IP, or is it stuck?

    Airbags for genset mounts

If the tire is old or bad, I'd be tempted to drill through both sidewalls. Then bolt the bottom down to the deck and the top sidewall to the rails on the generator. Probably wouldn't need to bolt it down at all for the proof of concept.

    Airbags for genset mounts

What happens if you temporarily put a piece of plywood or foam board vertically between the generator and conex container, preferably not touching either? Just curious if that would absorb/deflect some of the sound away from the container? If you have a spare tire available for the...

MEP 802A No start. very little fuel through pump.

Lister Petter part# is 751-41175. I think the equivalent Stanadyne part# is PF70/31466.

MEP 802A No start. very little fuel through pump.

I don't have a schematic, but I took a bunch of pictures when I had the top half of a stuck pump apart a few months back. Check out post #21 here: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/mep-803a-motor-locking-up-at-0-and-180deg.192351/post-2259257

Prepping a Gen trailer for the road home.

Nice score! Between the 0w30 and heater kit, they must've been someplace cold! Hope you don't need that in Texas!

    Saving deeply discharged Optima 51R's

Sounds like a good warranty! FYI - The leads and connectors on the G15000 are larger than those on the G7200. Because of that, the accessories for the 2 chargers are not compatible without manual intervention.

MEP-802a: need aux fuel tank 20 gallon preferred but 10 would probably work

Will the tank be stationary and refilled in place, or do you intend to disconnect it and haul it to the local truck stop to top it off?
