The 6.2/6.5 is a slug, even in a soft top soft door Humvee. I hardly call swapping in a higher HP and TQ engine crippling.

The only embarrassment in this case is the officer who doesn't know the law. Him bringing out a DOT guy and having him go through everything was just his way of trying to nail you for something. Good for you keeping documents, and proving him wrong.
