    CUCV-II, South Florida Rebuild

I had a problem with the batteries going dead after a few days of not being started. Hooked-up the scanner and said I had a short in the lighting system. I had a new light switch on-hand, so I swapped it out just to see if that would work. Only took 5 minutes to do. Not so lucky. Still had...

Road trip to Eglin AFB sometime in the next 2 weeks:end of April to first week of May

Yes, I would say at least until the end of the year. Son is doing good at the gun shows every weekend moving these cans. Planning another trip maybe Wed or Thursday. Eglin was the easiest base to get onto. Flashed my Military ID and drove right in.

Road trip to Eglin AFB sometime in the next 2 weeks:end of April to first week of May

Made it home yesterday around 2pm. Have to plan another trip next week to get the rest of the cans. Big thing will be unloading the trailer to make another trip. We put the 30 cal cans inside the 50 cal cans and then put them inside the "fat" 50 cans to save space. It was a heavy load. Looks...

    M1028A2 Question

I got a hair over 12 - 1/2 inches from weld to weld. If I'm reading what you want right. From the front diff, you have the u-joint than a small shaft, then a rubber boot. Then there is a weld with a longer shaft to another weld, then a u-joint and another u-joint to the transfer.
