Should be around 72.5"
Remember, the cover does not go all the way to the floor, bows are mounted on the top of the bed and the cover just overhangs the bed a little.
If I can get out of my Military duty that weekend (13th and 14th of OCT) I'll be convoying up.....not sure at this time what MV I'll be driving.
Kenny, if I do go, I should be able to help you on transporting your big items.:driver:
Post #1, Last picture.....Kenny and myself at Wildwood, FL.:-D
Just want to give a special thanks to 3DAngus and SETOYOTA.
SETOYOTA stored my gooseneck trailer at his place after I brokedown coming back from the Haspin rally. He also towed my CUCV-II to the Chevy dealership after the transfer case went out. All this on Fathers Day.
3DAngus came over to...
Got home yesterday around 3 pm...hit rain from Jacksonville, FL south to the house.
Pictures are of the transfer case that was replaced in GA. Still not sure what the model number is...it's a Borg Warner....maybe a 4470 or 4401 or ????. I will look at my other CUCV-II crew cab and see what it...
This video of the old computer in the truck. I started both video's at the same place on the turnpike...had to let off the fuel on the last video due to a car going slow in front of me.
With the old computer when I got to 70 MPH it would hesitate a little...
18 miles to I-95...only 559 more miles to go.
I have to do a pickup at GL in Jacksonville:mrgreen:
I have a base-x tent that I won.
I'll be sleeping in my truck tonight..waiting for GL to open in the morning.
We called the recycle yards and they out of stock.
Wish I knew the model #..NP246..NP241..NP 263....Borg Warner 4401 / 4470...NP261HD...or ????
The 4L80E has the 32 spline count.
Yes, i'm going to call him and see if I can look at the truck in Miami on Sunday. If I get it, I can turn my CUCV-II crew cab thats at the house into a "dually" and still have spare parts....thanks again for the link Kenny.
Just called the Chevrolet Dealer....truck will be fixed Thursday morning.
I asked about keeping the old Transfer Case....it has a core charge of $600.
That would put the total cost to around $2500 with keeping the core.
Not sure if I should spend the extra $600 to keep the old Transfer Case...
I would pull the inspection cover off the trans and see if starter is still engaged. If not pull all the glow plugs, put a socket with breaker bar on the front of the crankshaft nut and try to turn the engine over(counter clockwise and clockwise) and see what happens.
