What did you do to your deuce this week?

I broke my alternator casing in the exact same spot last November. My alternator was brand new! Yup, I was pretty mad with myself! BCS Alternator & Starter in Bryan, Texas had spare parts in stock and fixed mine for about $80. It may be worth calling some of your local alternator/starter shops.

    Boot from So Cal

First, welcome from Texas. Second, thank you for your service! As the son of a former Marine and the father of a Marine, I have the utmost respect for all that have served.... but I'm a little partial to Marines! You have a neat idea for a crew cab. I've never seen that done before (nor...

Ouch... two wreckers! That looks expensive. Did they just lift your truck up and let the trailer roll out from under your truck?

    Uses for Deuces

I'm not familiar with the 9C1, so I just googled it. Are you talking about a Chevrolet car with a police package? What kind of car, a Caprice? If you are asking for opinions, I'm biased. It would be a simple choice for me to keep the Deuce...

    Another field..Another Truck..

It's actually quite simple math. There's the equation >> A few more trucks plus one large building to hide them in equals, "Honey, I swear, I've gotten rid of a few trucks." dmetalmiki - That's a good looking Deuce! Thank you for saving it!

Saturday, February 18, 2017 At first there was one.... Then, like all herd animals, a group formed... The day turned out great! There was a good group of folks with seven awesome trucks. We could not have asked for better weather, and lunch at the Pizza Shack is always great. To...

Bump for lunch this Saturday (February 18 )... Based on current forecasts, we should have great weather! So far, I've heard from roughly a dozen folks (8 trucks) that are planning to come out. Several more are still "maybes."

    S-280 Shelter. It's final ride

We are left in suspense... Why is the shelter going to a final resting spot? Given the work you did, I bet it has years of service remaining. How are you going to use it?

    M916

Maybe so.... But once you get past it, this site is a wealth of knowledge with some of the best folks I've ever met (online and in person)! I am very proud to be a part of the group, even though I've posted a few stupid newbie questions. Now I need a bigger vehicle (5-ton, M916, M1070??) so...
