    Possible air compressor failure M925A2

Pretty sure it’s the unloader. Pulled the intake fitting off and the air is pulsating there. Little if any vacuum. The question now is how to get the back two head bolts out? I can loosen them but haven’t figured out a way to unscrew them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Possible air compressor failure M925A2

Pretty certain the unloader is stuck. Won’t build air past about 20psi. I hooked shop air to the truck and couldn’t hear a leak anywhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Where did you get a gasket set?

    Possible air compressor failure M925A2

I removed the line from the unloader and squirted some aerokroil in it. I'll let it sit overnight and see what happens. That back bolt on the unloader looks treacherous.

    Possible air compressor failure M925A2

When the line is disconnected from the unloader, compressor still won't build pressure.

    Possible air compressor failure M925A2

And after further investigation, I’m thinking it shouldn’t. I think the air pressure comes the other direction and that is what controls the unloader which is what cycles the compressor on and off? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No air coming from the unloader port on top of the compressor.

    Possible air compressor failure M925A2

If it turns out to be the compressor, I want to replace it with a two stage one. Anyone have the correct part number and best place to source one?

    Possible air compressor failure M925A2

I think my compressor has failed. My low air alarm activated last night as I was pulling into my driveway. I walked around the vehicle and could not hear any air leaks. Any suggestions of things to troubleshoot? If the compressor is bad, where is the best place to get a 2 stage unit to replace it?

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I installed the ignition switch and locking door handles from "Those Military Guys." I had to do some work on one of the door handles in order to make it fit (about 1/8th of an inch too long). Ignition switch went in pretty easy, but the included step bit was not sufficient to drill the hole out...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

My doors and windows fit pretty good. I need new window channels and the rubber seals all the way around and I think it will seal pretty good.

What does this do? (Water Separator internals)

It's never had any moisture. Just debris, small flecks of rust, grit, etc. Starts leaking air. Can I just cap the bottom port off?
