    MEPs and Hurricane Irma

I was one of those people. I had just got the units and had not had time to do any significant research on them. You don't have to be an arrogant DH. You really don't. At least we weren't too proud to ask for help, and I do appreciate the help I received. I own a plumbing and electrical supply...

    MEP803a Catastrophic Failure

The engine will not turn over now. Went down on a low oil pressure fault. Oil is coming from somewhere around the front of the engine. Bummed out.

    MEP803a Catastrophic Failure

Don't know. Will not crank. Apparently it has internal damage. No connecting rods through block though. Any idea what brand of engine it is? I'm going to start tearing it down later this week.

    MEP803A part question

What is the function of the small braided line that loops up and around the top of the engine then back down on the opposite end, runs along the bottom of the gen housing and disappears under the radiator. It has diesel fuel in it. Bypass return line to fuel tank? It's leaking. Thanks.

    MEP803A Low Voltage

Ok, I know what the selector switch is. I'll check it tomorrow and also write down the voltage across the different legs. I need to make sure this thing is working. We may lose power as a result of the hurricane. Thanks everyone! Russ

Hello, I have a dual MEP803A setup and cannot get a voltage reading higher than 212 vac across any combination of outputs on either generator. I have the voltage adjustment maxed. Any ideas? Thanks, Russ
