How high to jack a Deuce

I prefer to just get the tire off the ground with as little air gap as possible. This way it is much easier to deal with the tire/wheel weight.

What have you done to your 10 ton this week?

Please excuse me for living under a rock but I never knew that there was a 10 ton until now. Subscribed

    M35a2 deuce headlights

All the stuff on amazon is made in the same Chinese factory so you just pick whatever one tickles your fancy. The the thing with this Chinese stuff is that it usually will last if it works out of the box and if it doesn’t you return it and try again.

    Jeepsinker's M35A2 6BT Cummins swap ( pics and videos)

yes you would make reasonable gains with your idea but it is no comparison to the Cummins swap where torque is on demand and plentiful. It really boils down to what your expectations are and how much work you want to invest. But if you were serious about investing in to all the components to...

Dang it, dang it, dang it!!!!! Harmonic balancer broken.

This thread brings a idea to mind. Being that there is no real supply of new dampers I wonder if the aftermarket would have interest in producing a upgraded damper. Fluidamper I believe will make custom setups but they can be a little costly.

    my new m35a2

My guess is it is some sort of hookup for a external block heater.

    my new m35a2

This is my point you have a bunch of people saying no it is bad with no real world evidence showing that is unsafe. There is a bunch of what if and it could but no actual failure or problems.

    my new m35a2

people have ran wide tires on narrow wheels and narrow tires on wide wheels without issue. The only thing you are going to loose with a 395 on stock wheel is a little bit of contact patch. There are countless examples of people running them on stock wheels without issue. I was heavily in to...

    my new m35a2

This is why it took me years to get my truck. It took me a long time to help my wife understand that we needed the deuce and before buying she was actually helping me look for one. Or maybe she was working on me all that time because i have hauled 30 tons of gravel (so much shoveling) for the...

Happy you found it before something worse happened.

    Stupidity at its Finest

what was the thread title I would like to read through that one. I stumbled across one a while back talking about its use in tractor pulls but no pictures.i think the guy was saying he turned his tractor to something crazy like 4,000 rpm!!!!!

    Air dryer options.

Running pneumatic impact large enough to pull lug nuts on these trucks would be less than ideal without using a shop air compressor. The truck compressor will not keep up and adding tank capacity will help but not as much as you would like. If you are dead set on using the truck compressor I...

    M35 dogbone bushing options

I have not replaced any of these yet but I believe the only 2 options are nos replacements and ball joint style upgrade. The nos parts are easy to find but I have not seen the ball joint style listed anywhere although I heard they can be costly. I want to do a experiment where I remove all of...

    Western pa

Where can I take my deuce for a off road ride. I am not looking for anything extreme and would prefer to stay out of deep mud and what not. Mainly just looking for some trails to enjoy the outdoors.

Fuel filter conversion (would this be a suitable adapter)

This looks to be really cost effective compared to some of the deuce specific kits. But I don’t know much about diesel fuel systems compared to what I know about light car gasoline systems. Take a look at this filter base and please talk with me about it. Do you see any issues with it or is this...

Brake Bleeding w/ Remote Master Cylender

If you have a bottle preferably transparent like a mouthwash bottle and a couple feet of vacuum line you don’t mind throwing away you can easily bleed any brake system on your own. Leave enough fluid in the bottle to cover the end of the hose and connect the other hose end to the bleeder. Then...

Buying a m105 tomorrow anything I need to know before the purchase

thanks for the offer but I dont know my truck well enough yet to want to take that far if a drive.

Buying a m105 tomorrow anything I need to know before the purchase

Well I went to look closer today and one had a really nice frame but the box was rusty. And the other one that I had my eye on had a really nice box but the frame was shot(cracked). I may try to negotiate a deal for both so I can build one decent trailer and have some extra parts on the side...
