Called Cardone, they confirmed it was defective.
OK, went to O'Reilly's to return it this evening after removing it, the last one came in 24 hrs, this next one will be 5-7 days!!!!!! They also initially said I had to pay $17 to get the other one!!! That got straightened out cause I was...
Found the problem but now unclear how to fix it.
The Cardone hydroboost I got was missing the internal spring, plunger and retainer. Tried to figure out how to pull it from the old one but other than completely breaking down the hydroboost, don't see how.
I think you're right.
After calming down tonight, I was coming to the same conclusion. D#@! glasses broke (no I didn't throw them) so I had the daughter read the directions since I couldn't see to read. I'm feelin' old. After she read the stuff, I got to thinkin', of course that kept me...
The hydroboost replacement with the Cardone 52-7248 on my M1009 was going soooo well----too well. Got the old one off, put the new one on. Went to bleed the system per TM, brake pedal goes all the way to the floor and won't come up.
Went to the mfg website, says contaminated (the fluid was...
Maybe in Italy but here, it is hit or miss and depends on the unit. Some units are fully staffed, funded, supported etc. Other units are left to make do with remaining crumbs--especially with sequestration.
Reference the original question, roll the dice. Read the sticky about buying a deuce...
There are several threads on here reference folks replacing their radiators with the same issue. Suggest looking at those threads. They discuss something about mushrooming of the cooler lines.
I'm replacing my this coming weekend so I guess I'll find out soon enough
Thanks. Maybe I should do one of those picture by picture tutorials. I'll do it at my level: Step 1 Find 14mm combination wrench. Step 2 Place wrench over nut shown. Step 3 Turn wrench and nut in a counter-clockwise as far as possible. Step 4 Pull wrench off of nut. Step 5 Put wrench back...
Well then, I let you know how it goes once they ship it in. If it is jacked up, we'll just blame doghead. LOL.
I'll also let you know about the Murray 432098 radiator. To get my speedometer working, gonna replace that dang plastic thingy and 41 tooth gear gadget to boot.
It will all get...
Gotta replace my hydroboost and since this is one the of easiest, most cost effective options I see, just want to verify if anyone knows of any better options and obviously validate this will work if possible.
Yet another that has utterly FAILED to read post #1. There are no O (oscars) only 0 (zero).

Yep, it's a 0 (zero). The military doesn't use O (oscar) and I (india) in their serial numbers to avoid just such an issue. It's like using nuke to make an omlete, it'll crack the egg and fry it but you can't eat it.
