    I grew up in S.Fla, had several gensets ( bought first one in 1990 ) but in all those years of Hurricanes and Tropical storms I might have put about 6hrs of use on them. Now after living in Atlanta Georgia for 15yrs I've got just over 72hrs of use from my 003a...Go Figure!

    if I remember correctly you don't want a coil that reads Below 9ohms otherwise you could start frying the points ( to hot of spark )

    It will also depend on how many coats you put on, I did a tack coat and two top coats ( three on some area's ).

    A good little manual for parts interchangeability between models of Military Dodges is TM 9-1808C., However I just looked through mine and there wasn't anything on clutches.

    I fabbed it up with a couple pieces of 1"angle I tack welded to the cab and four 1/4" coupler nuts for spacing.
