Dblbeard, had a dodge truck brought to me with a similar problem, due to a bad connection to the alternator it was pumping out over 75 volts. you can imagine the havoc...

Thanks! I try to keep things neat whenever possible. found the pics of the switches and alley lights I put on. I also added a second dimmer switch for the IR headlights.
Get some marine speakers and install them in ammo cans, use SPEAKON connectors http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=092-058&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=pla
so you can easily unplug them. works out great, the bigger the ammo cans, the bigger the speakers...

Check the lamp carefully, if it has a hazy white appearance on the inside of the lamp then that means the lamp has cracked and air has made it inside. This seems to be caused by the lamp retaining ring being too tight and causing the lamp to crack on the reflector side once it starts to warm up...
I've been watching the auctions across the country and the items here at Lewis go for up to 60% more then the national average. So, like I said, odds are I'll be bidding elsewhere.
