I've been fortunate that I've been "on the beach" from offshore since December. They're paying me to stay at the house and I'm using the projects to keep from going NUTS!

Yesterday was tackling the exhaust leaks and cleaning up the exhaust manifold.
As you can see from the old gaskets, they weren't in the best shape:
Cleaned up the manifold, resurfaced the ports, treated with a rust neutralizer, then high temp primer and paint, new studs and voila:

OK, been a busy week.
First, my new oil and temp sending units came in:
Spent a day troubleshooting all of my gauges and am happy to say they are all working.
Then, I took a concrete bit to the truck to knock any loose paint/debris/oil off and was.... surprised...

I have "hostoric" insurance on it. Like an old Vette or Chevy. Limits me to parades, camping and car shows, but it's about 90.00 every six months. Includes roadside assistance, towing and comprehensive.
I understand all of the concerns regarding the hatches etc on the V 100s and Ferrets.
That said, when I bring my 5 ton to a show, I encourage the kids to get in it and check it out. Mind you, I don't just let them climb about willy nilly, but here's my thing:
