The 4 pin connector on the PA20 is larger than the 4 pin normally used on a CB. Is the mic really banged up or just not working? Make sure SW1 (inside the unit) is set for the correct type of mic you are using.

Federal Signal still has mics available as well as schematics for the PA20A. You'll have to call them however.

You can take your original knob to anyplace that does engraving and have the shift pattern engraved into it. A bit of flat white paint wiped into the engraved areas and it will look great.
