I will probably drive it and see what I think. The last deuce I had was issued by the Army years ago. I dont remember if it was a turbo or not. I do know that deuces dont fly very well when jumped off of a hill. The suspension and the motor mounts dont hold up;-). That was fun...
I "should" be coming home in August on leave. I heard that adding a turbo to a non turbo engine is bad..... or does it not matter.

With what ever stripper you get I would also recomend scoring the paint before application. Even with the self etching strippers it never hurts to help it all that you can. Just in my experence it has always worked better that way. just my 2 cents

Just a thought, but why not insulate the underside of the floor? I know a lot of newer cars have stick on heat resistant shields, you could always paint it OD. It would keep the integrity of the steel floors in the cab.
