I've been doing my delivery around all night I put about 80 miles on it seventy-five of them were problem-free but it was intermittent in between most of them
I did some reading up on the fuel cutoff solenoid I pulled the wires and scrub the contact clean and it seems to be running fine again it runs excellent most of the time and then crappy every once in awhile up until this point I'm going to see if cleaning the contacts help at all does anyone...
Today I kicked my truck, it's having some sort of fuel delivery issue that's intermittent it's full of fuel and for some reason it bogs and shakes every once in awhile and then it will be fine I thought it was air in the lines but I'm pretty sure that's not what it is any suggestions would help...
Well I torqued the big ass fuel filter as tight as I could get it and drove it to work and home without any hiccups, napa has my filter and pump for 50 dollars for the pair...i checked all the lines and fittings and everything seems to be in order, I will keep the new parts in an ammo box on...
Woke up to my truck running poorly would idle high then push air and go back to normal...i thought the gas guage was lying so I put 10 Gallons in it....didnt help..checked miscellaneous things under the hood and got about 1/8 to 1/4 turn tightened on my spin on filter...restarted and the truck...
I'm pretty speechless, not really but I can't bring myself to type that much profanity....i hope replacing that and securing it correctly...or at least better than it was gets rid of some of the issues you were having
Replaced the fusable link to the fuse box from the firewall... symptoms we're intermittent no power to the ignition switch but all the lights still worked...all better now
