    Gamma Goat seat belts..

I know this is an old post, and i have got a copy of the relevant MWO, but does anyone have drawings, dimensions etc of the outboard mounting brackets? The kit i bought off ebay last September turns out to be for an M123, that'll teach me for not jumping into a job straight away! Spock

    F-111 Aardvark - Brenham, Texas

And we loved 'em until death did us part.... or inability to extend the airframe hours any longer anyways... pretty ignominious end for most of them, but a good number made it to museums over here. Spock

    Aussie goat needs new shoes

Yokohama Geolandar MT plus were a 40x13.5R18 from memory, but also out of production. Seems to be a number of manufacturers running 40 on a 17" rim, but doesn't help us i suspect.

    Aussie goat needs new shoes

Footwear options update... Mob up in Kuranda have been running a rainforest DUKW tour for ever, rang them to see where they source their rubber from and got told they had changed the rim size to a commercially available unit... recent discussion with Adelaide Wheel Works suggests this is not a...

    Aussie goat needs new shoes

I could live with 10.5's, any idea what sort of tread he was planning? The China option is tantalising, but even without shipping it's being difficult, even thought of trying to import as a commercial deal in seatainer quantity. Be ****ed if I'd know where to start though... Or store them...

    Aussie goat needs new shoes

I've found two tread patterns to match size out of China, hooked up on Alibaba to get quotes, but they never seem to come back for low volume... Estimated quotes FOB start around the mid hundred with a minimum 20 order. In terms of load rating, they're about twice what we need, but still...

WSUCougarx's M561 Gama Goat Acquisition and Build Thread

Looks the goods, have been looking at the MRAP LED replacements from Truck-lite, not correct, but sorta possible as a motor pool fix.... And I think I'm going to be hit up for amber turn indicators and clear reverse to get my road plates.

Liners have been bonded to the shoes and everything re-assembled except for one broken brake return spring. Reached out to a local classic jeep specialist, no,luck, largest drum size brought to Oz was apparently 12", and the Goat (by extension the M715?) is a 13" drum. Big thanks to Hammnds 4WD...
