Clinto - THANK YOU! for your time and effort away from work and you're every day life to look into this for all of us in this hobby.
Everyone else - My only suggestion would be to use your acquired military surplus respectfully during this uneasy time and continue to...
I found the trailer on Craigslist after loosing opportunity to get a Canadian Version of the M416 off Craigslist in VA. The Canadian M416 was in a little better shape since it was built later than this one, but with a little work this spring this one will look just fine.
I saw that one for sale on eb$y... definitely won't see me spending $95 plus $36.92 for shipping on that model anytime soon. I've never seen the original that it is a replica of, but it does look like great craftsmanship and should function quite well.
I wanted to start a separate thread in case others were looking for a more cost effective option for a cover for their M416 and M100 Trailers.
The 5x7 tarp was purchased from Tarpsplus.com for $20.65. I'll post the link below. I know it might not be built to original specs for a perfect...
Thanks CGarbee! I almost scored a Canadian M100/416 which are obviously in great shape because they were made more recently. Missed it on Craigslist by like two days because I couldn't get down to look at it until the weekend. This one will do just fine, just needs a little TLC.
I recently acquired a M416 Trailer on my trip up to Delta PA. Appears to be delivered in 10/65. It came with a MD title, manual, and was re-wired to work with the typical 4-pin trailer plug with 12v Bulbs in the tail lights. It appears that one of the previous owners did a home made shackle...
I am looking for installation instructions for the Arctic Kit. I have an entire kit:
- Arctic Fuel Fired Cab Heater Kit
- Arctic Fuel Fired Coolant Heater Kit
I have looked through the TM's and printed out everything I could find. What I am looing for is a set of the blue prints and written...
I have posted several things to the classified ads in the past with great success. this morning I tried to post a new item to sell and it says I do not have acess or prvilatges anymore. I have never been notified by an admisitrator saying my privilages have been revoked.
Has anyone had...
My LDS Engine starts like crap below 50 degrees. I too think I have an injector pump timing issue. Even in the summer it takes many revolutions and a slight tap of the throttle to start.
I'm only in Maryland, but without the winter dress installed I can't get the truck above 120 and with the...
I am looking to get a price sometime next week hopefully. My contact that did the work for me was out of town looking at a new laser cutting machine and a punch press. I am headed on a cruise to Bermuda from this Saturday until next Tursday. As soon as I get cell service back I will check my...
Got a lucky on these lights... picked up 2-work beam and 2-spot Route Clearance Lights off Craiglist for $300.00!
I couldn't pass up the deal when they cost more than that for 1 light from Trucklight.
I am in the process of figuring out where I want to mount the 2-spot lights on the truck...
Can you send me his scrceen name so I can pull the part number again tonight and send him a PM. I would love to see specifications on the turbo. Here are the 3 turbos that I found could have been on the LDS Motors:
Schwitzer P/N 4LE-354 FOR LDS-465-1A
Schwitzer P/N 4-456 FOR LDS-465-1...
I actually found a turbo of an LDS-2 Engine not to long ago. I am told that it was installed in the XM757 8x8 trucks. I attached a picture of the turbo. This winter I will pulling the D Turbo off the LDS Engine in my truck intalling this turbo.
I haven't got around to installing them on my headlights yet this week. Here they are installed on my Truclight LED Route Clearance Light I have mounted under the bumper. All I had to do was flaten the tabs out to mount them.
I have had my Bobber through snow fresh powder bumper deep. My truck is setting on 395/85R20 XZL's right now and I had the 395/85R20 XML's when I was in the seep snow.
My Friends M35A2 is singled out with 395/85R20 XML's and when we were out in the Blizzard 2 years ago he was busting...
I bought headlight guards for my truck. I used the first set on the LED Route Clearance lights under the bumper. I installed one on the headllights to see what it would look like and then took it back off before I went to the Gilbert Show. I think I might out them back on to protect the LED...
A pair comes with the Arctic Heater Kit for the Deuce.
I actually got a set of Ebay a while back because I am still in debate whether to keep, or sell, the arctic heater kit I bought.
