How much would you bid on an M819?

Hi, ida34 said: "Not the best but a good budget wrecker." :cookoo: Huh? Are you kidding, that thing is great! The extra wheelbase, longer boom, enclosed operator cab, the ability to tow with pintle or 5th wheel... The only thing the M819 lacks is extra tool boxes/storage and a rear drag...

How much would you bid on an M819?

Hi, That is a great looking truck and a great price too! Congrats! I see it has General HCT 12"x20"s on the front like my brothers Oshkosh has. They are great tires. If you need any questions answered I'd be happy to....tell you to go search :-P ( just joking ) ;-)

Spring rally at rausch creek anyone?

Hi, It is settled...The 1st Spring RC Rally will be April 2,3,4 2010. Even this far out I'm not sure I could make it as it would be a few weeks apart from the NJMTA show at Sussex. (April 17-18 )Who knows, I enjoy getting away and camping so I'd still like to make it. That is an...

Tire Size Comparison 16 vs 14 vs 15.5

Thank you again.....come to think of it.....the Oshkosh had a wheel spacer to kick out the rears to track inline with the front. These were removed as shown in these pics.

Tire Size Comparison 16 vs 14 vs 15.5

Hi, Thank you for the clarifications....Do bridge trucks have wider backing plate to backing plate dimensions than a std. 5ton? Different backspacing on the wheels? Thanks again a picture is worth a bunch of words

Tire Size Comparison 16 vs 14 vs 15.5

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to take measurements & post pics. Two questions: 1.) Are the 15.5" 80R20s still in production, if not then on a scale of 1-5 (five being the most difficult) how hard are they to source? 2.) I'm wondering out loud if the above tire can be run as duals...

Mack NO Pics Hi, The attached pictures don't show an M125....A Mack NO with a similar towed piece is close enough.... Notice the large load of shells in the second pic. These are original prints that I scanned at a high resolution. Enjoy

Manhattan by MV (pics) Hi, As stated the weather was nice. Great day and oppurtunity to thank those who served. (It should be every day.) Lex_Ordo, MACSOG (photographer of the day), my brother and I met two blocks down from where the main MV gathering is to help support the folks of Iraq and...

    MEP-003A center of gravity

Hi, Does the 003A have a single lifting point? You can reasonably deduce that the C.o.G. of the genset is near that lifting point. Also the transport guidance TM has C.o.G. info for trucks & trailers though I'm not sure if they have info for equipment that small. Your looking to have the...

    Wisconsin DOT bill proposal

Hi, I agree with Electrons in that the rights of citizens have already been negotiated into thin air with this proposed bill. No one can demonstrate/illustrate to them the difference between an M818 and a engine driven bar stool?!? I'm shocked at that the origin of this BS comes from a...

Hard to start Dodge when hot

Hi, Nice M37! Probably due to "vaporlock." Try insulating the fuel line along its entire length inside the engine compartment. Also research if you can convert to a 12V starter.

Spring rally at rausch creek anyone?

Hi, Thank you for the interest ironwolf85! I think this is a great idea and don't think it will take away from the fall event. There are so many people that live within a reasonable driving distance in PA, NY, NJ, CT, MD, DE, to the park that DON'T ATTEND!! This is a great oppurtunity for...
