Hi,
On saturday Lex_Ordo took his immaculate M35A2 and I took the M923 on a little roadtrip over to Raceway Park for the big Diesel Truck Show. The Oshkosh went by low-boy so my brother didn't have to do much driving  . Lex was running 90psi in his 11x20 F'stones and almost bounced off...
Hi,
Another great recovery!
I want to thank Lex_Ordo, MACSOG, and my brother for helping me get this done. Without their efforts this would not have been accomplished. A big Thank you.
This would've been a little easier if we had the wrecker operational but it still would've...
Hi,
Thank you very much for posting pictures. That looks like alot of fun! You aimed right for that rock! Interesting about the Ural's weight. Car & Driver should do a head to head comparison between US and Ruskie trucks
Wow be careful crossing those bridges. :-P
Hi,
Thanks for the compliments, my Deuce doesn't get enough down time for me to do a cosmetic resto so everything looks hodgepodge. All these mods are the result of fairly constant use.
Yeah haha, I don't know how I missed putting in some type of cup holder. My friend uses coffee & bean...
Hahaha Its nice to know that others have had the same wonderful experience!
Here is a comparison from the TMs between the LDS and the LDT lower brackets. As can be seen, the older bracket design is simple (like 99% of all alt. brackets on all motors in history)
The second and third...
Hi,
I'd like to share this amusing little ditty as any Deuce owner who has had to replace an alternator will agree that the person who designed the "lower alternator bracket" should be dug up from the grave and beaten with their own bones
Recently with no warning my alternator...
Hi,
Here are some modifications that I've added to the inside of the Deuce cab over the years to make the overall Deuce experience a little happier :-) I've never posted a thread focusing on this "little stuff." Enjoy.
Mod no.1:
I drive my Deuce all year and I didn't mind not having a...
Hi,
I just got a box of PS Monthlys dating from around 1980-2000 and have been looking through them for an appropriate image(s) to use for this years T-shirt. Last year's turned great thanks to maddawg.
I will scan some of em' this week and post them and we can vote on what we want. How's...
Hi,
Congrats to your son's efforts! It can be pretty stressful. We will definetly miss your company and conversation! That springloaded impact wrench (swench (sp.)) came in handy!
As for us we'll be there with the M35A2 and the M923.
I've been working on persuading some more guys near me...
Hi,
Wow I think I remember your posts from last year. That really blows that you couldn't have it shipped whole.
qstn. 1........Its pretty common sense. Run low pressure 15-20 for offroad soft conditions and up to 80-100psi for highway.
question 2......It seems that your 14x20s are...
Hi,
Thank you Will, for starting this thread. I always try to be observant :-P It's a great & unique piece of an American history. Next time I'm in that junkyard I'll take pics or see how much he wants for the unit. The entire engine portion is complete except that its missing the sought...
Hi,
Great truck.....I don't mean to throw this off topic but dude....you've gotta take some pictures of that Hemi powered Chrysler Air Raid Siren sitting behind the ambulance!!! Thats what we really want to see!! :-P
I found the engine portion of one in a junkyard near me but the compressor...
Hi,
Welcome aboard sgtshuker. Ground clearance isn't an issue on Green & some blue trails.
I'm glad you enjoyed yourself last year Rick. Thats a great truck. Hope to see ya again!
Hi,
Excellent job! That's a great award! I especially like how the score sheet was formulated. It's the perfect category for an award. Thank you. [thumbzup]
