    witch would you rather have

If both trucks were the same condition (hours/miles, body condiction etc.) I'd take the truck with sprag and winch. An Air shift t-case can be had for cheap ($100 -$300) and is readily available. They are easy to swap out also, which I'd do if I ended up with that truck. A winch is more...

    GM Furturliner

They did a full on restoration, on one of these in Zeeland (about 10 miles away) a few years back. I got to check it out after it was completed. An awesome piece of American history.

Got rear ended, totaled, parting out

A little Bondo and some spray paint here and there, and a good buff job, that thing should be good to go. What a shame, looked like a nice truck.

    Bob Deuce extended drive shaft?

When I bobbed my Deuce, I had to have the drive shaft lengthened 5". I had D&R Driveline re-shaft/re-tube the driveshaft to the proper length and also spin balance it for $140, out the door.

    bobbed deuce load test.

Thats one truck, put back to work after retirement from the goverment. :-P The top over-load leafsprings from a M105 trailer would be happy to be your friend. With loads like yours, I'd look for a set. I bet you could even score some for free.

Another bobber project! And another wasted bed!

I've sold all four Deuce boxes that I pulled off my trucks. No matter what you have, there is always someone out there, looking to buy what you are selling.

Any interest in winch top plates?

I can do the rear one also, but it would be soild, and not have the three square holes cut into it. I would serve the same purpose (maybe even stronger ?), but it would not be correct for a full on restoration. If you really needed the square holes in the rear plate, I could Plasma cut them...

Any interest in winch top plates?

Can anyone confirm that the M35 and M211 winch use the same top plate? If different, what are the dimensions for the M211?

Any interest in winch top plates?

Are the 5-ton and Deuce winch top plates the same looking, just the 5-ton is dimensionally larger? If so, I can do them also, at the same time. I'll just need accurate dimensions to make them for a 5-ton.
