Recovered a M1009 at the Alabama National Guard HQ in Montogomery, Alabama.
GL classified the vehicle as scrape.

Needs Windshield, right side door and tailgate...

Looking for some ideas or plans to take an M1009 pintle hitch and attach it to a standard vehicle type hitch to use in a receiver on my F250 and still have the ability to turn the pintle all the way around.
Has anyone made anything like this? I did not want to re invent this, if someone has all...
I keep hearing that M1009 glow plugs are 12 volts then I hear that they are 24 volts... Which is it 12 or 24 volts? Does anyone know? Going to replace my glow plugs in an M1009. I took the glow plugs out of a parts M1009 and they were AC 13G and they all were Good! Had 3 bad ones in my daily...
My M1009 that I got at Jefferson City, Mo. showed 35,000 miles and the glow plugs were Wellman, just ordered 8 new glow plugs from NAPA (AC 13 type) that have the correct connector... They are suppose the be here today.
I took the replacement glow plugs out of a M1009 that I had 91,000 miles...
