    Bad Trucking Company - Warning

Yeah, that's the same info I found. Have tried the number and can't get them to answer. Don't know why I'd want to talk to them at this point anyway - except to advise them that I'm going to do everything I can to publicize the crummy way they do business to everyone who will listen :-D...

    Bad Trucking Company - Warning

Thanks Clinto. How did you do a search on Uship and find that?

    Bad Trucking Company - Warning

 I've had great luck with using Uship.com to arrange shipping of many, many items over the last couple of years....until now. It's not Uship I'm complaining about, it's one of their service providers. Hopefully this will eliminate another SS member from being burned. If any of you...

    Spare tire on front

    sf97/ title problem

Before you fill out the SF97, try going into your GL account and try adding his name to your account - maybe in the company name section. When you fill out the new electronic SF97 application, GL asks if you want the from in your name or the company name. If his name is there, just choose...

Just won on GL, how 'bout you guys

I thought so, especially for $1800 before fees. Would be great if somebody could see if it runs before I make the trek down there?

Just won on GL, how 'bout you guys

number 9 This whole green (tan in this case) iron thing has got to be an addiction. Anyone seeking professional help? I'm beginning to believe I might need to. I saw all those lovely mid to late 80's deuces in GA and just had to bid on one. I thought I bid low for what I'm assuming (hoping)...

    Solid Gold M105A2?

There were some pristine M101A2's in DE today. What did those end up going for?

    Switching speedo's

Sure, why not? M1009 with 3.08 gears, 33 inch tires, 700r4 transmission, 2800 RPM is 127 MPH. Scary.

Deal of a lifetime on a deuce

The seller replied to my question about the mileage.... "Thanks! I will take a look next time i am in the unit." dumbass.

Deal of a lifetime on a deuce

So I sent a message to the seller: "Did you check for the mileage on the odometer (the thing that records mileage) that's on the lower center of the speedometer? The speedometer is the big round gauge on the dashboard to the right of the steering column. The steering column is the shaft...

Now why would you say such a thing about Gimpy?

    best battery

It might be relevant since we don't know what the vehicle manufacturer called for in CCA's for the Deuce? GM specified at least 550 CCA's for the Blazer, so that is what I based my comparison on. The fact that the Guberment put 6TL's in the CUCV's might or might not have to do with what the...

    best battery

There is lots of talk about batteries and what is best, and how many cranking amps, etc, etc, etc.... While the CUCV's came with 6TL's, what is really NECESSARY for these vehicles to start reliably for a good amount of time? I would argue that using a battery reference to the civilian Blazer...

    Upping the fuel

Really like the gauge setup. Brand? Where to get? Thanks

will 52's fit on a deuce without adding more lift?

Probably has to do with the wheel offset that you use. Mine has a cut down deuce bed and not an M105 bed on the back. When I turn full lock and hit a bump on the inboard side, it will rub. Never had an issue in the rear.

Fuel Filter Heater leak - help

I pulled the heater out and tried several o-rings to seal it up with no luck. Makes no sense. Am just going to order a new one. Thanks for the help.

What battery are you guys using?

One on mine had 65's in it and they were shimmed up with some plywood because the 65's are shorter that 24's, 27's, 31's and others. How did yours fit?
