Ok so when you don't have hydro assist, you turn the wheels and the stress goes to the steering box. with hydro assist you don't have as much force going to the steering box as you do on a non hydro assist truck. The hydro helps turn the wheels with less stress and puts less stress on the frame...

do you run hydro assist? It takes stress off the frame.

yes you tap in to the Power steering system. when you have big tires it helps steer them and helps when wheeling.

nope you can stuff 33's under there IT might rub but they fit.

put the T case in neutral. Tow truck you dont need to mess with the Transmission. what you said is correct.

I had mine ported Local. If you want to Do Hydro assist I have part numbers that are much cheaper than 1400 ORD wants.
