That looks awesome! Can we see another pic of the whole interior? What do you plan to put in it? In other words, how will it be laid out? Job well done jtron![thumbzup][thumbzup][thumbzup]
OK, in the 1940s John Deere used a similar Idea for some of their smaller tractors. The models L, and LI used these, they were called Mud Lugs, I believe. They bolted on like a dual rim, but were just small enough that the tractor could go down the road without it digging in or making the ride...
 Wow Zout! You're lookin a little blue....lol.rofl
So those had 4 bunks and 2 stretchers, it was only made to hold 4 patients then right?
You got me already wanting an M43 now. :jumpin:
Hurry up with those jeeps so we can see this build!!!
HOLY MOLY..................that can't be the same jeep that sat in the junkyard!!!!!!!!!:cookoo:
You cleaned that thing out fast....and painted it too?!?!?!?
It is time for either a build thread or a story...:jumpin::jumpin::jumpin:
Oh, and does it run and drive now too? That would be amazing!
I have two questions for Mr. Tow4. Why is there a drooling icon in that post? We are talking of oddball waste, are we not? If it refers to the trailer itself, which I hope it does...then carry on!roflroflrofl:cookoo::lol:
This will be the second revival for this thread now....
So what trailers can the M983 tow? I think I saw a pic of an M870 behind one, but how about the M747 or the M1000 (obviously newer and way different, I don't know much about them), or maybe something else? Just curious, as we all are...
Stupid question: Are you going to use three ramps or the normal two? I know guys with antique tractors and stuff like the third ramp for narrow fronts...so it all depends on what you are hauling...
When you hear: "I GOT DA POO ON ME!!!!!" then you will need to hand him the cleaning gear....:shock:
Those proceeds may not be worth it either....;-)
I second the checking with the mods, or maybe even Chris himself.
Price it out, show us the sample, and let us know more on ordering!
I vote the second Deuce image, and maybe Gimpy needs his own "special" shirt...
Why are you going back to solid? I have no experience with any mil. trailers, although I know the tongue weight is too heavy for a person to lift, but why are pneumatics so bad? I was under the impression you had changed it to that, and I thought, that even with more maintenance of keeping them...
I thought I detected a hint of graphite dust, or smearing. Us lefties tend to do that when writing or drawing. As the left hand slides across the page marking, the lead its sliding over smears, and gets on the side of the hand. It is then smeared on the paper everytime the hand is set down. I am...
I too like the t-shirt thing, having some of my own made for another event (not mv).
Those are awesome! I totally understand the art teacher thing...mine keeps asking what it is with me and green trucks....:cookoo:
Keep it up, and post some more pics as you do them, remember, art only has to...
