Gringeltaube, can we get the specs on your avatar's wheels/tires? Those look like continental mpt 80s...what size, what wheel setup, etc.? Thanks in advance.:jumpin:
I'm liken' the change of avatar Zout, when did I miss this?[thumbzup]
You're doin' just fine by me by the way, I wouldn't get this done in 5 years, let alone several months...keep up the good work. A project is only fun when you do it your way, on your time, with your energy:p
m109
I;m gonna go out on a limb and revive this thread...
Hey, T120R, I know you haven't been on in a while, but maybe we could get the skinny on all your storage.:-P I read all of your other threads and wondered about what you had mounted where. generator on fender, gen on trailer, solar...
auaaua can't make the last 2 bigger...need bigger pics...
where did you fing the pics, maybe i can go back and see them?
Great job by the way! love the trailer idea.
I am a bit of a purist, so I am biased ;), but aren't M35s or such, that is cheaper and more common than an m109? Sell the M109 and get a deuce to make a tractor. I am sure you have your reasons for wanting to keep the truck you have, but selling the M109 could possibly get you a really nice M35...
Thank you
Please don't feel obligated to answer this, but after reading this awesome thread...can I ask why you had to get rid of the truck?
:?
I don't mean to be poking into sensitive business...
I think you guys are right, it does look like an m814. But the shelter is definately different than the second pic down Bones. It has windows, and no bed, the shell is the body-not sitting in one. Plus, there is something in between the cab and shell. Thanks.
It was said to be at Fort Worden...
OK, I was just Googling "military vehicles" and at the top of the list was this pic of this truck. My question is...what is it? Obviously some 5-ton (or larger?) but it has something similar to an m109 shell on the back with a space between it and the cab. Hard to see what is there. Any info...
OK, duh...
42" tire means the area there should be at least 42" deep, 42" wide, and the tank height of 15" means 15" tall.aua
Thanks for the quick input guys!
OK, so just wondering about the spare tire carrier and/or fuel tank on m109s. Anyone have the dimensions (height, width, depth) of a tank. If not, how about spare tire rack...
Just curious about mounting a generator there after seeing all those m109 builds.:-P
