I had a member close to me offer a cool rebuilt Iltis, but for the same price I
decided to go with the deuce from eastern surplus in the US.
This will be a added bonus for doing wood with the winch and all.
When I bought it,it came with 33/12.5-16.5 goodyear AT and the
16's had 33/??-16 GY AT.Both were near bald and a no go for a safety.
I like these bias ply tires, even the cold bump bump doesn't bother me.
I am not familiar with this wobble,is it common for this vehicle?
I have a 79 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 and haven't had anything like you
guys mentioned in the 20+ years I have driven it.:???:
Thanks for clearing that up,so if I understand what you
are saying,I can put a radio (PRC-77/AM-2060/MT-1029)
in the back, the tailgate is just for easy access?8)
Can someone help me with an Iltis question,I wanted to install a radio
system in an Iltis,is it the tailgate or regular one or both that this can
be done like seen in this picture from Militarytrucks.ca?
That is insane:cookoo: Thanks for letting me know.I was looking on Militarytrucks.ca
and saw a nice Iltis.I was looking for one to put my radio gear in,I'm in southwestern
Ontario.
Hi guys, great thread and an awesome forum.I wanted to know if I understood
correctly, that if I redid all the flex lines cylinders and brakes,I could register a
MLVW?
