The fun of semantics with MEPs! :ROFLMAO:

    Mep 803

Used ones (and the grey market ones you see on ebay) are a real crapshoot. I would go new. These guys can help: https://www.sleeman-hawken.com Why do you think you need new metering pumps? Have you tried soaking them in carb cleaner for a few days?

    Mep 803

You might want to invest in a couple milkhouse heaters. They range up to 1500w for under $40 each. You can plug them into your home and turn them on as needed to add more load. Easy, cheap load banking.

If you look back up, I think he answered your question but in the quotation. I think it says he swapped only the front half (so would have retained stock CT, etc).

    Mep 803

I dump an entire can into a tank on either an 802 or 803... its overkill, but its cheap enough that Id rather it just work.

    Mep 803

Well if you just got this going I suggest putting a high quality fuel additive in the mix like seafoam and run it for an hour or two at the highest wattage you know it holds. Then, incrementally add load as you can until you get upwards of rated power. The overload fault could be one of...

    Mep 803

Are you dumping 10k onto it, or working up to it? Does it hold lesser loads properly? Any change in RPM or engine difference? Any black bits being spit out of the muffler?

    MEP-802A GP Win

Yeah, unfortunately there should be a vacuum draw at the oil fill... no pressure like that at all. There may be a small amount of air movement and light oil just from the rotation of the internals of the engine, but not like the Butner videos. They've been pushing absolute trash machines out of...

802a no start from switch and no power at lugs.

Care to share a photo of your oil pressure switch? It has both NO and NC functionality, have you confirmed the right leads are hooked up?

    MEP 802 and 803 gauges

They are one of the approved vendors who made them. There were a couple (them and Ideal, at least off the top of memory). Could look up the NSNs on them and get better info.

    Valence's M116A3 Mounted MEP-803A (10kw generator)

Its your call. Theoretically whatever stuck to the frame, and to the lid... will line up properly when you reinstall. If you find its easy to scrape it off... I would. You aren't fielding this equipment across the world. Its not leaving your property. I assume they must have had an ingress...

    Valence's M116A3 Mounted MEP-803A (10kw generator)

You got one of the "lucky" ones with an RTV top. That stuffs a nightmare... all you can do is pry and work it over. That right side is always stuck the worst. Thankfully its not on the majority of machines.

    802/803 gauge is 1AAC

    Another mep803a issue

Does that meter cross out to the one in the 802/803 specification wise?
