Im gonna check for kinks in the line, thats an interesting theory. Its either a lack of fuel or something is not allowing it to operate full throttle such as these cables. The truck was serviced on a PM 1000 miles ago by the MIL so I doubt it needs a valve adjustment.

I don't get 2600 rpm. Only 2350 as to the fact the truck does not hit top speed. The tach could read 10000 for all i car. Unless it hits 2600 it won't go 56 mph.

I'll check that out. Is there any kind of measurement I can do to see if I am getting proper travel in the cable?

I primed the system. Again the issues is still there after the filter change.

Do you mean a timing light? Regardless of the tach the truck does not reach maximum speed.

No it does not rev higher then that rpm at idle if I stab it quickly. Could the cable be an issue from the pedal?

52-53 was the fastest it went on the gps. On the speedo it reads 50-51. It's on 9x20s

The previous owner said he never changed the filters since he got the truck. Maybe he did maybe he didnt but they were all dirty IMO. Ive ran a tank of seafoam through it already before i changed the filters but Ill run some more. What other areas could effect max RPM? Could a clogged air...

Just changed the filters guessing that 5 years of neglect would have caused it not to rev past 2350 rpm which was about 52-53 mph. Just started the truck after changing all 3 fuel filters and it still looks like it wont rev higher, well at least in idle, havent driven it yet, starting to think...

The drain cock also didnt drain anything, not sure why, got the filter off, but now how does it go back together, does the spring go first then the cup and then the filter or how?
