    Hey you Illinois guys

No, you do not need to obtain a CDL in Illinois to drive the Deuce. I would suggest licensing it as an Antique Vehicle unless you plan on using it to haul things. It is MUCH cheaper this way. Welcome to the site, BTW... Any pics of your ride?

    Craigslist M38 in IL

Noticed this tonight, about 45 minutes from my place. Looks like it is getting close to being parted out. http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/805423422.html Kinda falls in the "rare" category,.....maybe? Sorry if someone gets offended. I would hate to see it get junked... Could maybe...

    Air tank purge valves???

Other than the "bolt handle" it appears to be the same as the original ones on all of my deuces. The valve on the other tank looks to be the type more commonly used to drain a cooling system.

    Two airhorns....

I agree with Kenny completely on this. Quite the unique sound. Kinda like the a Chrysler Corp. gear reduction starter. My head would always snap around looking for a cool Mopar when hearing it in a parking lot. Although, hearing an old Chrysler starter is getting as rare as hearing a military...
