I am going to hook it up to the house side of a 60A breaker that feeds the panel for the addition on the house. I am going to put a disconnect between that and the gen plug so it isn't hot so no one can open the cover and stick there fingers in it and get shocked. Well at the least anyway. This...
I found some stuff on smokstak and I saw on there to hook up to the S1-2 terminal for neutral so it looks like that is what I am going to do. I am going to do that and switch it over to propane.
I want to install a 240v plug on my gen so I can use a generator cord for hookup. I know the two hot leads will go to L2 and L3. Do I need to run the neutral to the S1-2 terminal? That way I don't need a jumper so if need be I can use the other settings with out removing it.
I turned mine up 4 flats before going and getting my M105 trailer yesterday. Drove it through the Flint Hills along I70. Managed to get it up around 1050 degrees on the long hills. I hit 13 pounds boost for a brief moment. Otherwise it would usually peak at 12. Deffinately makes it a different...
Yep the bolt in the center. The plug on the side is dry. Cleaned it off and ran it. Its not coming from the lines. It starts seeping out from under the cylinder ID plate on top of the head. I noticed it yesterday after I picked up my trailer. Had fuel blown back onto the step under the drivers...
Did you mean intake manifold? Cant do that because of the boost. If you hook it into the air cleaner intake you are going to need a bunch of air filters.
I like it because its a Checker. Now if only I could have won the 53 Studebaker M35. I got the truck 3 months ago and now the trailer. Both only took about 2 weeks to clear.
Just picked up my trailer today. 1952 Checker Cab Company. Looks like it recently went through a rebuild. New top. Tires. Brake lines and master cylinder and actuator. Looks like a new wire harness. I think I did good.
I got a boost and pyro installed in my 70 Kaiser M35a2 and went and flogged it. Managed a high of 950 on the pyro and 9psi on the boost. I figure I have some room to turn it up a little. I just want a little bit more power. Not too much.
Hello everyone. I am getting ready to fill out my first SF-97 and had a couple of questions. First it is a 1970 M35a2 made by Kaiser Jeep. Which is better to list it as? Kaiser or Jeep. Less hassle? Second, Do you use the long number on the dash plate or the number on the frame? Luckily mine match.
Hello CARNAC. I just got my first one and would like to know more about it if I can.
