Thanks guys for the help I will pressure wash the engine and check around it for leaks. I was planning on doing that anyway but was more just curious if there was a problematic area that always leads around the ip or filters. Thanks again for all the great feedback.

Ok guys I would like to see if anyone has ran into this. My Deuce has recently started leaking oil from around the injection pump or from behind it or also from around the fuell filters can't really pin point where its coming from. Basically what happens is fire it up and oil starts dropping...

I just did mine, refilled with dot 5, master cylinder was empty but lines were not. So being that you need to fill the entire system and bleed I would get 2 quarts. My master cylinder alone took just over a quart with the bleeding and all.

So just now started reading this post and I ran into the same issue not knowing if I had DOT 3/4 or DOT 5. My finding pretty much pointed strait to DOT 5. it's already been said in the few post back but all I did was reach a small ear dropper down in my master cylinder got just a small sample...

Hey all, I have just rebuilt my air pack and my master cylinder. I have also purchased a remote brake reservoir kit. My question is has anyone done a remote kit and if so where did you find was the best place to mount it? Any pictures would be helpful as well. Thanks.

I'm with you Lieutenant Dan, Warn makes a great winch. The 18000 lb winch on my truck runs about 2300 plus some fab time to mount it, but judging from Hainebd post it runs about 2k to just put the factory one back on and I'm sure that's no easy task. Warn winch all the way :grd:

So I assume the way a power bleeder works is you just pressurize the system and then bleed the air pack, then pressurize again and do each wheel? Correct?

Ok thanks, what would you bleed first? This air pack or the brakes? I would assume the air pack so you get get all the air out right there but I may be wrong.

So... got another question for you guys. After I rebuild my Air Pack and get it back on what is the procedure for bleeding the brakes? I have done a little research and found out how to "power bleed" brakes but is there more just a conventional way to do it? Would you bleed them like a normal...

ATPTac, I have not yet sprayed my lines to see where my air leak is coming from but I can just tell you how my truck is. Before this past weekend my truck would hold 120 PSI no problem while driving and then would also retain 120 PSI when shut off and slowly leak down over the corse of the day...

Welldigger, should I push the pedal while the truck is off, or while running. and when you say vent air where should it be venting from? The tube next to the air box?

Thanks gimpyrobb. This is right on the firewall correct? I will spray this with soapy water as well. If your air governer is bad you can pick this party up at napa I believe?
