Deuce oil change at oil express!

I used to manage a quick lube in a relatively affluent area. We would ALWAYS honor our coupons and standard pricing on odd ball stuff, simple to break up the monotony. We had a regular customer with his 97 Lamborghini Diablo VT that we'd service (made him watch every step every time just for...

    Rear window Plexiglas??

Well, that is what you use to attach plexiglas to race cars. You cut the window to fit the hold then install the dzus fasteners attachment points on the backside on 90 degree Brackets. Just look around online for pics of how racecar windows attach. Make sure to use "Lexan" polycarbonate and...

Oshkosh Snow plow W/ frozen motor

Way easier to buy one of those fiber optic cameras to stick down the plug holes to have a look, than it is to pull the heads.

    Rear window Plexiglas??

All 50,000 VA state safety inspectors read this forum!!! Worst case, (if I wasn't the direct supervisor of two of them) I could put the glass in, hold it up with wood, and go through inspection. My guys didn't do my last inspection, before you say it ;-)

    Rear window Plexiglas??

I have it installed on mine. I have the real glass, but I just didn't feel like spending all the money on all the window crank stuff I needed. It works, it's held up with cotter pins, and does the trick. ......state inspector never noticed it. ;-)

A3 Front tire balance W/ Erik's lug nut fix

It works fine on the rears. I've been running it on all 6 wheels for close to a year. Nothing but good can come from properly balanced wheels.

A3 Front tire balance W/ Erik's lug nut fix

Just to set the record straight, this fix was "wehring's" creation, not Erik's. Erick is a great guy, but if we're going to call it by someone's name give credit where credit is due.

3116 hard start in cold weather?

My A3 starts better than any diesel I've ever seen when it's above 45f, but 35 and below it has to crank for a while. I've started it below zero with no either, it helps greatly if you give it a little gas while cranking to get it to kick. It is MUCH easier with winter diesel.

    A3 Tire Source

That would be really interesting to see if Costco could get them.

    Leaky CTIS on M35A3

10psi is the lower threshold, not 20psi. "emergency" mode will drop them to 13psi, and the system will reinflate them fine from there.

Pretty sure my vacuum pupm has gone TU

Wow! Switch to decaf dude. The manual IS the be all end all for your problem. I have had your EXACT problem and it took me all of 45 seconds to diagnose with a gauge and the manual. Your question was simple, so "put a vac gauge on it or follow the steps in the manual" is a simple answer...

    Leaky CTIS on M35A3

Mine does that when it's really cold......apparently you aren't supposed to use it below 30F until youve been driving for a few minutes.

Pretty sure my vacuum pupm has gone TU

Toss a vacuum gauge on the pump and look at it. If the needle is flying all over the place, it's the pump. Granted there are actual directions for figuring this out in the TM...... But, reading is for suckas ;-)

    Straight Piped A3 Today!

Cool find, and idea......if it didn't block half of the pipe diameter inside the stack. My truck runs better straight piped as well. Probably more so because of how restrictive the muffler is.
