Thanks. I was hoping someone would confirm this. I was 95% sure it was stainless but couldnt be sure since i dont know of too many stainless steel tanks. Lifting one by yourself you get to feel the full weight as well.
yesterday during the "heat wave" in wisconsin (45-50 degrees lol) i continued my work on the fuel system on my M927A2. I removed the fuel tank in order to clean out the particulate that was in there. I wanted to repair the drain valve since it wouldnt even open for me so i had to pump the whole...
Changed it out with a new one and it works well now. The pressure builds but im now afraid that the pressure goes too high. The aux tank built pressure faster than the main and didnt stop at 120psi. I think the tech manual says that its supposed to cut off at 120psi but i could be wrong. Maybe a...
No. Sorry maybe i didnt explain it well. Air is dumping out of the exhaust opening. Im sure there was air leaking out of the loose fittings but i couldnt tell over the noise from the air escaping from the exhaust port. the only air i could actually feel with my hand was pretty much an...
Ok, i took it apart and it looks brand new inside. However, i know that can mean nothing in the long run. So you suggest just replacing it? I also dont know if the correct hoses were in the correct inlets. Cant seem to find a diagram for that.
So I was messing around under the dash of my M927A2 trying fix some air leaks and noticed that push pull valve was dumping air out of its exhaust. Its fittings were loose but that wasnt my concern. the problem was that the air pressure wasnt building because of it. Been through the Tech manuals...
I don't think it is operational. My front two tires go flat if I leave it for a couple of months. They don't fill when I'm running the truck either.

No dummy lights, no issues with air brakes. To me someone just made some kind of bypass but i have no idea what its for. I drove the truck from one storage to another before I saw this and nothing seemed off.
So I was just laying underneath my M927A2 (its weird that i like laying under it and just looking around) and I noticed this. What the **** is going on with this?
thats correct. however when i took it off it was shoved under the dash and i didnt notice the "flow" arrow until after i took it off. having the same fittings on each side i couldnt be sure of how it was before i took it off.
i know this is a old thread but i cant seem to get what info im looking for. id like to know which way the air flows with the water seperator. from the box to under the dash or from dash to the box?
Unfortunately it's leaking out the bottom piece. Looks like it was broken off or the release was gone. i purchased a small aluminum water separator from a bagger website. Ill install it and see how it works.
