My MEP802A on a trailer came from Ft Drum with less than 10 hours on it. Would have been nice to have that one equipped for CW environments.

Your semi device sounds similar in function. I'm just looking for a new or used takeoff to install on my 802A and 803A. Something to switch on for awhile before use. Nice to have when it suddenly dips to-35.

Guyfang, I tried that and it will only rotate about 3/4 turn. I'm going to pull the head and check out the top half.

No I didn't crank it with the injectors out. They were in. When I had the injectors out before I could not turn the crank a full rotation. I'm thinking of pulling the head to look further.

I have a flood light lamp in there as of this morning and it's slowly melting out, it's forecasted to hit 43 degrees today....it's nice here last few weeks so it okay to be working outside on this.

The radiator coolant is green and not draining into the crankcase. I believe the source of the water is from the lack of an exhaust flapper so that left it open to the elements....for how long I don't know..but there is plenty of water inside which has partially frozen..working on getting that...

I just picked up a 2009 MEP802A with water in the crankcase oil. The meter reads 8hrs and appears to have little use. Does anybody have any experience in resurrecting an engine with this problem? I'd greatly appreciate some guidance.
