The m1009 you need to pop the diff cover to drain then you can mop out the thick goop and clean the magnets. The 1028 could be the same, but I'm not sure.

How stiff is the fan clutch supposed to be? If spin it by hand when cold it stops almost immediately. Is that normal operation? I could not find any information on this here or online. Thanks for your help.

It's a stainless steel bolt with a brass sleeve. No one local has the part and I would like to get it buttoned up today if possible.

Is the bolt supposed to be long enough so that the filter is loose?
Any one know the part # of that bolt?
