My brother lives in Hilliard. I will probably take a break and spend the night there. Haven't decided what truck I want to take yet. Would you happen to have a tow bar with 1 inch pins for the just in case?
Replaced the water pump, both drive belts. Drivers door would not open from the outside. I figured the tang was bent just like everyone else said but the end of the handle square rod was rounded off. Built it up with weld then ground it square again. Put the latch assembly back in. Put the...
Bypassing the fdc is on my list of things to do. Today I worked on getting the water pump out without pulling the radiator. The belts were all cracked up so I went to the parts store. I love it when they say what can I help you with? I giggle and say its not in your computer but they try anyway...
My 76 has a white engine in it. Tag on it says it's a 73 engine and it has a 77mm stroke. My 70 has a Hercules engine in it build tag says 10-91 with a 74mm stroke. I'm wondering if the cranks are different or a misprint. The 76 will whip the 70s rear end but the fdc isn't bypassed yet. Fuel...
The 2 that I already have titled in ohio already had Ohio titles and I never took either one to the bmv for them to see. The first one they asked what it was as they had not heard of Am. General. I said dump truck. They asked me what it weighed. I said 13,000 empty. They said that anything over...
I regularly see the employees of my local bmv at car shows and cruise ins. I wonder what they will say about my vehicle having Vermont plates
It would be funny. But I like pushing people's buttons.
I saw that one surfing the net yesterday. Not sure either. I have Wednesday and Thursday off I'm going to make a phone call and see if Hoagland is in town.
I just went to the bmv in ohio and asked them about buying a wrecker from Georgia off of a ss member. They said that ohio won't issue a title for former military vehicles. I asked what about buying one that was already titled in Ohio. They said nope. I bit my tongue. My wife was standing next to...
Thank you papa bear for posting the link to that video. I haven't cried that much since my beagle died. I have nothing but the utmost respect for our nations veterans. Thank you all for your service.
I don't have enough property for alot of trucks yet. One 40' x204' lot with 2 garages on it 40 x 70 and a 16 x 26 take up the majority of the room. At the house it is about an acre all hillsides with 2 natural springs. The wheelhorse tractor gets stuck mowing the grass with chains on it.
I bought a sibling for my deuce as I thought it might be lonely. Still looking for one for the local American legion post. They want one to put in their side yard next to the flags and wheeled artillery guns. I had one in the works by Marietta Ohio for $1,750 that I was going to buy and donate...
I saw that and searched ohio. Has over 1700 members. I can't look at a screen for hours. Can't stand just sitting around. If I'm awake I have to be moving.
I was talking with a few other members and thought it would be nice to have a way to search members local to your area by mileage. So you could get to hang out with someone who shares your interests.
I'm in eastern Ohio where a big part of the oil and gas boom is in swing. Just got ahold of some condensate from a natural gas well. Added it to my used motor oil, transmission fluid, diesel fuel, gasoline, 2 stroke mix and filtered cooking oil. Runs pretty good.
