There was nothing in the auction stating the year, and there is nothing on the data tag other than a serial number that I am attempting to decode. I don't want to guess at the year when filling out my forms and end up having problems. I also don't know the manufacturer. I'm still learning this...
Yeah, the "fever" hit me hard. I skipped right over the M35 stuff and went this route. The power steering makes it really nice.
Now I just have to figure out what year it is and send in my title request.
Bought it from GL/Fort Meade. Checked the fluids, charged the batteries, and she is running like a top.
Here is a link to the video of the start up and short walk around. Sorry for the quality. First time using my phone as a video camera.

D- GL purchase, Fort Meade, MD
E- N/A
Thanks for any help!
Thanks! I'll have new batteries on Monday. I was totally ill-prepared for it's arrival. I was planning on a no-start issue, was not planning on the driver of the tractor/trailer not being able to get the rig into my friend's driveway....Created a bit of a situation until I pointed out to him...
She's home. Gotta pick up some batteries and cables. It was interesting getting it off the trailer. Couldn't get it started. Did not realize that the emergency shut off was actually off at the pump and not connected to anything. Can't wait to figure out the title process and start playing with...
Well, new to the big trucks anyway.... Just won a M931 at Ft Meade. Probably picking it up next week. Sending a lowboy to recover it. Then to figure out all of the paperwork to make it legal and get my CDL to drive it. Kinda doing it backwards, I know.
I have a 4bt/NV4500 in mine. I find the 4500 to be a problem. Too much spread between gears. A 5600 or a good automatic would be a better choice. The engine runs great and make plenty of power.
